"A+ bartending: snarky, fast, and thoughtful. Bartender spoke Spanish to latino patrons, had my water without asking once I finished my beer and dinner, and cracked jokes through the eve. Energetic and fun and welcoming. A+ food: the schnitzel was perfectly crisped and cut /piled high vs. seeping out the edges of the sandwich. My husband had the house-made cranberry sausage and we both loved the cabbage (don't inhale on the bite- the vinegar will make you cough!) And bacon "slaw" which was sweet and savory and RICH. A+ vibe: we are out of towners and this place felt like a neighborhood bar, and we didn't know the "rules" for finding a table (there are no rules-- bench seating so make friends!) A sweet local gave us his bar seat, made recommendations, and other guests had a similar "everyone is welcome" vibe. The music for our night was a STELLAR high school crew from the local School of Rock-- wildly good vocals, busy guitar and bass riffs and steady cohesion. They were polished and skilled and I hope like hell they keep making music together because WOW. Will make a point to come.again. Will recommend abundantly to local friends. Wunderbar, you are really killing it."

"This place is awesome! Bartender is really friendly, beer was great, and food was excellent. I highly recommend to anyone that is hungry for German food. It's away from the busy area of Covington so parking was a breeze. If you're looking for a place to eat in Covington, skip the rest and try this place, one of the best."

"Delicious German food in a chill, friendly bar and restaurant. Pretzels are massive with hands-down the best beer cheese in the city. Pork schnitzel is on point (comes as a sandwich but eats best without the bread and toppings). Multiple sausage/wurst options, and a legit brunch menu. Try the bacon-topped pierogies while there, and a bottle of Warsteiner Dunkel to wash it down! Drinks, appetizers, and dinner for ~$30 a person... can't beat it. 100% will be back!"

"Super funky, hole-in-the-wall/dive bar feel, dark ambiance with wooden tables down one side bar on the other. This is a walk up order bar and then sit where you'd like. Friendly service, the sausages and pretzels are house made so a must try for anyone. House made pretzel: as big as your head with an outside crunch and inside fluffy carb heaven. Perfect for dipping in the beer cheese or mustard! Definitely a must try. Beer cheese: subtle beer flavor without being too much. Not as salty as most chain restaurants beer cheese with is a plus because with the house made pretzels it's a perfect combination. Bierbrat, Garlic Pepper, Polish, Curry & Grippos Housemade Sausages: all have great snap, juicy and thick. Polish was my personal favorite all around, savory and mixed perfect with the stone ground mustard and sauerkraut. Garlic pepper was a nice blend however I would've preferred a bit more garlic in it. Bierbrat was good but my least favorite of the three, it didn't have much of a flavor to it. Curry sausage was an interesting take on a sausage, I was intrigued by the option, it had a numeric blend and curry drizzle that if it was served with naan bread as a bun and a cream sauce it would've been perfect. The Grippos sausage (Grippos being the Cincinnati chip of choice) was underwhelming unfortunately. I didn't know what to expect with this one, the flavor was there but texture wise it crumbled apart quite easily. I hope they don't stop trying new combinations and I do believe there is great potential for a Grippos sausage if they can get the texture figured out. Sauerkraut was your basic run of the mill sauerkraut that is a staple with any German delicacies. Bacon slaw consists of warm shredded cabbage with bacon strips mixed in. Great flavor however for texture I would prefer crispier bacon in it. Had a vinegar taste that complimented and blended well with the sauerkraut. Pierogis were delicious with about 6 on the plate covered in a cream sauce with crispy bacon bits and caramelized onions. Very good texture the filling was flavorful (for a pierogi) the onions and bacon definitely enhanced the dish. Overall I would go back when in town."

"Gotovyat bystro. Eda norm. Net informacii o wifi. Est rozetki u stolikov. Ceny srednie. Zamenite, pozhaluysta, plastikovye sousniki na obychnye."

"The food is very good. We had the Rueben and sausages and both were great. The giant pretzel was hefty and almost a meal itself with very good beer cheese. I'd like to go back and try the rest of the menu."
